Agreement to Terms

By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Products & Made-to-Order Custom Items

Many of our products are customized and made to order based on the options, text, locations, and/or files you provide. Because items are produced specifically for you:

• All customization details are your responsibility (spelling, addresses/locations, image selection, and choices).
• Colors may vary due to screen settings and printing processes.

Pricing, Taxes, and Charges

• Prices are shown in United States Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise.
• Prices may change at any time, but changes won’t affect orders already placed.
• Sales tax (if applicable) is calculated at checkout based on shipping destination and applicable laws.
• You are responsible for providing accurate billing and shipping information.

Payment

We accept payment through third-party payment processors. Your payment is subject to the processor’s terms and privacy practices. We may cancel orders for suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions.

Order Acceptance & Cancellation

• An order is not accepted until we confirm it and/or payment is processed.
• We may refuse or cancel an order for any reason, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, inventory/production issues, or violations of these Terms.
• Cancellations: Because production can start quickly, cancellation may be possible only within a short window. If production has begun, cancellation may not be possible. Contact us immediately at [email protected] if you wish to cancel your order.

Shipping & Delivery

• Production and shipping times shown are estimates, not guarantees.
• Delivery dates may be affected by carrier delays, weather, customs (if applicable), or peak seasons.
• Once the carrier marks an item as delivered, responsibility generally transfers to you. If a package is lost or damaged in transit, we will work with you and the carrier/fulfillment partner to resolve it.

Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds (Made-to-Order Policy)

Because items are custom and made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for buyer’s remorse, incorrect size selection, or customization choices. We will, however, make it right if the item arrives damaged, defective, or materially incorrect compared to the order.

To request a replacement/refund for a defect or error:

• Email [email protected] within 30 days of delivery (or within 7 days for visible damage, if you prefer).
• Include your order number and clear photos of the issue (and packaging if damaged).
• We may offer a reprint/replacement or a refund depending on the issue and availability.

Sizing: If you order the wrong size, we generally cannot refund or exchange custom apparel. Please consult the size guide for your particular item on the item page before ordering.

Custom Content, Uploads, and Permissions

If you upload images or provide text (“Content”), you represent that:

• You own the Content or have permission to use it, and
• It does not infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy/publicity rights, or other rights.

You grant us a limited license to use your Content only as needed to:

• Produce your customized product,
• Provide customer service (including reprints), and
• Maintain order records.
• We may reject Content that we believe is illegal, infringing, hateful, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate.

Map Designs and Accuracy Disclaimer

Our map-based designs are intended for decorative and personal use. They are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for navigation, emergency use, surveying, or any safety-critical purpose.

Intellectual Property

All Site content (logos, text, graphics, product photos, design elements, and code) is owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without permission.

Promotions and Gift Cards

Promo codes have no cash value and may be limited to one per customer/order unless stated otherwise.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for unlawful purposes,
• Interfere with Site security or functionality,
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems,
• Submit false or misleading information.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and products are provided “as is” and “as available,” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement except where legally prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MapStuff™ / map-stuff.com will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) at issue.

(Some states do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.)

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or your Content (including uploaded images/text).

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution First

If you have a concern or dispute related to your purchase, account, or use of the Site, please contact us at [email protected] with: (a) your name, (b) your order number (if applicable), and (c) a brief description of the issue. You and MapStuff™ agree to try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days after we receive your notice.

Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to them are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Venue and Jurisdiction

Except for matters that may be brought in small claims court, any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Small Claims

Either party may bring an eligible claim in small claims court in the county where you live or where MapStuff™ does business, as permitted by applicable law.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
